MISSING_LINK
is a journey through a different perception (space) –.
The
title missing link is a certain term in human sciences, in biology
as well as in cyberspace, and describes the missing reference in
the chain of evolution, derivation and information.
The
in- and outpoint scene of the video starts and ends with a black
sequence and shows gradually the suction of an underwater stream.
A hand becomes visible, which is the starting point of a chronological
swimming sequence of four swimming disciplines. The two and four
channel video version alternate in showing simultaneously the perspectives
of hands and feet. The invisible body axle becomes perceptable through
swimming sound, which has been recorded by hydrophones, which were
positioned on the ears of the swimmers .
